👋🏻 I am Disha, a UX/UI designer from India.
My most recent work, Period Tracker, was with Benchwork, where I did user research and designed the entire app. I did my graduation in Computer Science and Engineering (Hons.) from Lovely Professional University, India. This gave me a platform to channelize my vision on designing. I started my career with Byju as an Operations Associate and then I joined Whitehat Jr. as a Curriculum Director for over an year now. Due to my interest in UX/UI, I kept working on my skills and pursued a certificate in UX/UI from Designboat. Since then i have worked for two clients and delivered my work happily.

SKILLS

Due to my interest in design, I am quick at learning and applying new information. Below are the three main areas that my key strengths lie in, as well as software skills.

01

USER RESEARCH

I have grown to appreciate the visual representation of design work. Throughout my bachelors degree I developed skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe XD. This has helped me during the development of hi-fi prototypes in UX design.

02

EMPATHY

During the UXDI Course at Designboat, I learnt how to undertake quick and effective user research by applying agile methodologies. Throughout the design projects, I carried out in depth competitive and comparative analysis of the various companies in order to have a solid foundation to start the design process from.

03

VISUAL DESIGN

I have always been intrigued by the pyschology behind people's problems and behaviours. This particular interest drove me to pursue a career in UX. I am interested in learning more about how feelings, thoughts and actions can be improved by good design.

TESTIMONIAL

“What I appreciated the most was being able to "co-create" the design with her in iterative and interactive mode throughout the project. We organized daily "mini-sprints" in order to achieve a well-targeted part of the design. Many thanks for your work!”
